_ Yanaka was my inspiration for this piece. As I have always loved long walks and shitamachi atmosphere, I found myself drawn to Yanaka's quiet and well conserved Japanese architecture as well as the shift of lifestyle from fast pace center city. In the middle of very busy Tokyo, the quiet calm and slower pace of Yanaka has given me space to breathe a little and observe the streets. _ Mei Kanamoto is a multimedia artist.
